Vail - Ryan Sutter / Aspen - Thursday/Friday

The town of Vail, CO

We woke up early Thursday. Went to breakfast at Bob's. We then got going around 9:30 and headed to Vail. It started to drizzle about the time we got there. Took us a while to find the fire house. But it's right in town of course. We then parked and headed there not really knowing if we would see Ryan Sutter or not. There was one of the guys out side the fire house and we just asked to see Ryan. We were so glad he was available. We talked for a short time about this and that. It was just good to meet him. What a nice guy. Trista is very lucky to have him. Before we left we were able to get a picture of him. We then left the fire house and decided to walk around Vail for a short while. It was such a fun place to look around and take pictures. We also did some shopping there instead of shopping much in Aspen. We then left there and headed to Aspen. We arrived in Aspen around 2:30. After arriving it was on and off rain so we didn't really do much the rest of the afternoon. We meet Richard for a short while and then he left us and we went to dinner at an Italian restaurant in the Village. All in all it was a very good day. Turned in early again that night.
Our babies are with the pet sitter for the first time and are slowly adjusting. It was a rough night on Wednesday for her. Gracie wouldn't keep quiet. She kept barking and barking almost all night we were told. Today seems to be a little better. We will see what tomorrow brings.
Friday:
There's really not much to say about today. We were on our own mainly this day. We got up fairly early and it was a little overcast so we decided to go to town. At first it looked like it was starting to clear up so we were starting to head to Maroon Bells but when we got there it was buses only. On our way back we stopped at the stables to take pictures of horses and other animals there. We then went into the town of Aspen for part of the day. It was nice to just walk around. A lot of construction in town also. We then returned back around 2:30 to just chill out in our room. Around 6:30 we went to dinner at one of the other restaurants in the village of Snowmass. We split a burger and salad there. It was really good. We then went back and crashed again early. Found out the dogs are doing great! They are adjusting to us being gone. We miss them so much! Only a few more days and we'll be home with them.

I just love the pictures....they are breath taking. I just told my dh Todd that I wanted him to take me there one day. Maybe as a family of four we will. Oh I can't stop looking at them. And the other thing, I have no idea which one you are, do you girls have to look so much like each other?
love,
